We have a special group for first graders who don’t speak English. The teaching is slightly more intensive there than in the other groups.

We believe that one lesson is not enough for full immersion in the learning process. To really see if Londond Gates is right for you, we offer a one month trial period. At the end of the trial period, we meet you to discuss your child’s learning trajectory.

All new students take a placement test. The results of the language level test and the interview help us select the best group for the new student and ensure smooth adaptation. The exception are the A-level groups formed from September to November.

Yes, most of our programmes include holidays. We follow the traditional Russian school holidays in quarters: autumn, spring and winter. The majority of our students have this kind of holiday system, and more details about this can be found on the pages of each programme.
We are not a language school; one of our main aims is to develop our students in a holistic way and to teach a whole range of different subjects in English as part of our original educational programme. To achieve this, we combine academic and creative subjects in our curriculum.

In science, students are introduced to mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and geography, while in humanities they study history, psychology, philosophy and literature. The classes are taught in English and allow students to acquire new knowledge, become familiar with areas not included in the school curriculum, expand their vocabulary, experiment with group work, practise presentations, debating and other skills.

Drama includes a wide range of activities that develop fluency in English and basic social skills — self-presentation, group and project work. At the end of each academic year, students put on a major performance — in English, of course.
