We are not a language school; one of our main aims is to develop our students in a holistic way and to teach a whole range of different subjects in English as part of our original educational programme. To achieve this, we combine academic and creative subjects in our curriculum.
Science and Humanities are academic subjects. In science, students are introduced to mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and geography, while in humanities they study history, psychology, philosophy and literature. The classes are taught in English and allow students to acquire new knowledge, become familiar with areas not included in the school curriculum, expand their vocabulary, experiment with group work, practise presentations, debating and other skills.
In addition to academics, the curriculum includes creative subjects, such as Art and Drama. These are not only for children looking to develop their acting or artistic skills. Drama includes a wide range of activities that develop fluency in English and basic social skills — self-presentation, group and project work. At the end of each academic year, students put on a major performance — in English, of course.
Art, on the other hand, aims to develop the ability to use artistic means to solve a variety of problems. We create an environment that encourages creative exploration and empowers children to express themselves without fear. Courses are highly diverse. For example, as part of the Photography module, the students set up their own photography studio, and as part of the Architecture module, they designed a 3D plan of London.
